Launching something new in the desert
On July 3rd, 2009 over 500 of the world’s smartest computer programmers will convene on a decommissioned nuclear missile site in the desert of Eastern Washington State. During this annual event their goal is to solve some of the world’s most challenging issues through technology.
Literally on top of a symbol that once represented global destruction, this event will bring people and information together to support a new future for the planet.
This event will include VIP tours of the one of the world’s largest underground Titan – 1 missile silo installations – a site once visited by John F. Kennedy during the Cold War.
Produced by Tri-Film Productions, the event will include energy solutions, green information booths, and visual and performance artists, all culminating in one of the first concerts in the world to be powered by renewable energy. Musical talents and important voices on these issues will further inspire the audience towards renewable energy solutions for their communities and the world.
This invitation only event is equal parts conference, art installation, and celebration. The entire event will be promoted heavily in the media and through a series of nationwide promotions. Tri-Film who has a history of producing live events in spectacular locations including the first ever rock concert at Alcatraz is now looking for other companies and organizations to seize the moment and get on board with this once in a lifetime project to better our planet.
Tri-Film Productions has partnered with ToorCamp (computer programmers), and Levitate Energy (manufacturers of alternative energy systems) to produce this special event. For more information, contact Ryan Hodgson at Tri-Film Productions, 425.889.8100.
